Career Planning Workshops - Offered at Truax, Downtown, West and South Campuses
Are you a current or prospective Madison College student uncertain about which career or program to pursue? The Career Planning Workshop will help you learn how your interests, skills, and values play a role in choosing a career and explores components of WISCareers - an engaging approach to career development. After attending the workshop, a follow-up appointment with a Career Counselor or Advisor is encouraged to discuss your educational and career goals. Registration is required.

"A Smart Choice For A Smart Future" Career Fair
Thursday, March 29th, Truax Campus 

Approximately 50 employers will be present to recruit for jobs, internships and feature their organizations. The event is free and open to all Madison College students and alumni. Topics and activities include:

• Meet prospective employers
• Explore educational opportunities
• Dress for success tips
• Resume reviews
• What are my rights and responsibilities for discussing an arrest or conviction record?
• How and when do I disclose a disability to an employer?

Getting the Most out of a Job Fair Workshop

Receive tips to prepare and maximize your potential at job fairs. Workshop goals: explore the purpose of a job fair, learn how to prepare for a job fair, discuss ways to approach an employer, identify appropriate attire to wear, discover follow-up techniques and more.
