What is WISCareers and Career Cruising?
- WISCareers and Career Cruising are websites to help students with career choices and career planning. They both include information about occupations and assessments. WISCareers also includes job search resources, a resume-writer, an e-portfolio, and a budget planner. Access to both websites requires a registration code.
Who can use WISCareers and Career Cruising?
- Current Madison College students and students planning to attend Madison College next semester may use WISCareers and Career Cruising.
How can I learn how to use WISCareers or Career Cruising?
- Staff in the Career and Employment Center (CEC) can assist you in learning how to use these websites (see CEC contact information for each campus). At the Truax Campus, weekly career planning workshops provide an overview of WISCareers for current Madison College students and students planning on attending Madison College next semester.
How can I obtain a registration code?
- We encourage you to meet with an Academic or Career Advisor or attend a career workshop. At the career workshops, you will begin to discuss your career planning and get oriented to the websites. Our subscription licenses with WISCareers and Career Cruising do not allow us to post the registration codes. To receive a registration code for WISCareers or Career Cruising, please contact an advisor at the campus closest to you, or at Truax or the Downtown Education Center- register for a career planning workshop.
