
WI AHEAD Fall 2011 Conference
The Madison College Counseling and College Success Department is partnering with WI AHEAD to provide a mental health summit with with district-wide community-based providers and county programs that serve our student population. The 2011 WI AHEAD conference will take place over two days on November 17th and 18th. David Mays will provide a half-day morning session on College Student Mental Health and an afternoon session on risk assessment.
We will hold a 1 1/2 hour working lunch with providers to discuss local mental health trends, campus resources and community referral services. We will end the day with a discussion on next steps for collaboration between Madison College Counseling and College Success and community providers. The cost for the day is $70, and includes lunch.
