Spring 2012 Volunteer Fair

The Spring 2012 Madison College Volunteer Fairs will take place February 7 - 9, 2012.  Activities are scheduled to take place at various Madison-based campus locations, including:

• West Campus - Tuesday, Feb. 7 (11 AM - 1 PM)
• Downtown Campus - Wednesday, Feb. 8 (11 AM - 1 PM)
• Truax Campus - Thursday, Feb. 9 (11 AM - 1 PM)

Over 30 Madison area volunteer agencies will be attending these events recruiting Madison College students to participate in service opportunities during the spring 2012 semester.  The following information is intended to inform agencies on parking and setup details at all Volunteer Fair locations.    

If you are a non-profit agency and have an interest in participating in the Madison College Volunteer Fair, please complete an interest form. 

West Campus Volunteer Fair Details

Location: 302 S. Gammon Rd., Madison, WI  53717

Date: Tuesday, February 7, 2012

Load In Time: 10:00 AM

Fair Starts: 11:00 AM

Fair Ends: 1:00 PM

Parking at West: Parking is provided at the West Campus location.  Please park in the designated building parking lot. 

When You Arrive at West: You may pull up the main entrance of the building to unload items.  Volunteer Center representatives will be available to assist you.   After unloading items, please proceed to the designated parking lot.  No permit is needed.

Fair Setup at West: Agencies will be setup in the student lounge, which is located on the first floor of the West Campus building.  Volunteer Center representatives will be available to assist with setup.

Downtown Campus Volunteer Fair Details

Location: 211 N. Carroll Street, Madison, WI  53703

Date: Wednesday, February 8, 2012

Load In Time: 10:00 AM

Fair Starts: 11:00 AM

Fair Ends: 1:00 PM

When You Arrive Downtown: Pull up to the loading zone located in front of the Madison College Carroll Street entrance.  Volunteer Center representatives will be available to assist you with load in.  After you unload your items, please park in the City of Madison parking structure or any location that is convenience for you.

Parking Downtown:Parking is NOT provided at the Downtown Campus location.  Paid parking is available in a City of Madison parking structure.

Fair Setup Downtown: Agencies will be setup on the first floor hallway near the doors to Carroll Street and in room 240.  You will be assigned a table when you arrive to the campus. Volunteer Center representatives will be available to assist you with setup.

Truax Campus Volunteer Fair Details

Location: 3550 Anderson Street, Madison, WI  53704

Date: Thursday, February 9, 2012

Load In Time: 10:00 AM

Fair Starts: 11:00 AM

Fair Ends: 1:00 PM

Parking at Truax: Parking is provided at the Truax Campus location.  Please park in the gated visitor parking lot.  Use the map listed below or the designed signage on campus to find the gated visitor parking lot.

When You Arrive at Truax: You may pull up the center court, which is located in the back of the Truax Campus building, to unload items prior to parking.  Volunteer Center representatives will be available to assist you at the center court.   After unloading items, please proceed to the gated visitor parking lot.  The map listed below indicates the location of the gated visitor parking lot.

Fair Setup at Truax:Agencies will be setup in the student lounge, which is located on the first floor of the Truax Campus building.  Volunteer Center representatives will be available to assist with setup.
