    What is the Volunteer Center?

The Madison College Volunteer Center's mission is to develop, implement and promote service opportunities that will impact the community and enhance student learning.  The Volunteer Center is engaged in many partnerships including VolunteerYourTime.org and Americorps.  The Volunteer Center is led by a group of student leaders called the Board of Directors and a professional staff member who serves in an advisory capacity.

I have to do community service for a class or scholarship. How can the Volunteer Center help?

The Volunteer Center coordinates a number of programs throughout the year aimed at connecting students with service opportunities.  For a list of upcoming events, please visit the landing page of the Volunteer Center website at http://matcmadison.edu/volunteer-center.

The Volunteer Center is engaged in a partnership with UW-Madison, Edgewood College, RSVP and United Way of Dane County that offers a clearing house of service opportunities in Dane County. These opportunities are listed on the website VolunteerYourTime.org.  To learn more about VolunteerYourTime.org visit the VYT Partnership homepage.
