Veterans Educational Benefits
Madison College is approved by the Wisconsin State Approving Agency for training of qualified veterans under the Veterans Educational Benefits Act (GI Bill), and for the training of eligible dependents of deceased or disabled veterans. More information can be obtained from Madison College Veterans Services, located in the Enrollment Center, Room 159, Truax, or from the local County Veterans Service Office or the Department of Veterans Affairs at (888) 442-4551. Training that qualifies under the GI Bill includes post-high school vocational diploma programs and day and evening associate degree programs. Please note that Madison College does not and cannot determine eligibility for veterans, benefits; the VA determines all eligibility.
Please review the Veterans Checklist and the Federal and State VA Educational Benefits Summary, as listed above, to ensure all necessary documents are submitted for processing of benefits.
Guest students taking courses towards a degree at Madison College or another school should refer to the Guest Students webpage for additional information.
