Graduates of this one-year program leave with a firm knowledge of the inner workings of an operating room. The Surgical Technologist is responsible for creating a sterile field for medical instruments used in surgery and keeping track of every item used during an operation. Prospects for these graduates are excellent, and many have jobs waiting for them before they graduate!
