This one semester program prepares students to graduate and go straight to work in a dentists’ office. Future dental assistants are trained hands-on in taking x-rays, sterilization, and all areas of patient and procedure preparation. They take part in clinicals throughout the program, and will work one shift in a dentist’s office. Dental Assistant is one of the forecasted top ten hottest jobs over the next five years, so chances of placement are great!
