Textbook Adoptions Due November 1
Mon, 10/17/2011 - 16:11 — wbessette
The Madison College Bookstores want to remind you that textbook adoptions and class supply lists for spring 2012 are due by Tuesday, November 1. Some of you have already submitted your adoptions to the bookstores and we thank you!
We realize that some of you may not receive your teaching assignments until after November 1. In that case, we ask that you please submit your textbook adoptions as soon as you can after receiving your assignments. When submitting your adoptions, please use the following criteria:
-
Regional campus courses – submit adoptions to your campus. - DTEC and South Madison courses – submit adoptions to the DTEC bookstore.
- Truax and West and online courses – submit adoptions to the Truax bookstore.
It's critical that we receive this information from you in order to prepare the buyback list. Used book buybacks will be held during final exam week (December 19 to 23).
If you would like to place your textbook adoptions online, start by going to the Madison College Bookstore web page. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “Faculty”. Fill in the boxes on this page accordingly. In one of the fields, please indicate the campus that your course is held. Click “Submit” when finished. Upon submission, you will receive an email confirming your order. If you have any questions please contact the matcbookstore[at] madisoncollege [dot] org (bookstore) at (608) 246-6016.
TOGETHER WE CAN HELP STUDENTS SAVE MONEY!
Two students benefit from one used book! Your current student receives cash back at buyback, and your future student saves money purchasing the same book next semester! The bookstores will be buying used books based on the information provided by you.
When selecting your textbooks, keep in mind that we will order whatever book you choose. If it is your intention to order a custom or bundled textbook, please keep in mind that the ability to buy back used copies is affected. Custom publications and bundles will not be available from a used book wholesaler. After completing a course, students may not be able to sell the bundled or custom books to the bookstore due to missing or incomplete components. If ordering a bundled textbook, it's critical that you inform us which components (CD’s access codes, study guides, etc.) are used for your class so we can collect them at buyback.
