STEPS Program: Upgrade Training Sessions Continue
Mon, 06/20/2011 - 08:28 — tvdao
With the STEPS Upgrade scheduled for early July, the first round of training classes have started, and faculty, advisors and staff have been receiving a comprehensive training and overview of the new PeopleSoft 9.0 functionality.
Role-based training sessions are tailored to faculty, advisors and administrative support staff. Employees will need to visit the CETL Registration website to view available classes and to register. Anyone uncertain about which session(s) to attend should contact their immediate supervisor for more instruction.
Registration is required and class completion will be recorded on employee transcripts. Each session title refers to the required attendees: faculty, advisor, Learner Center administration support staff, and student service staff. At Truax, open lab sessions are scheduled for everyone to utilize to practice what they learned in a previous session.
See the STEPS Training web page for the current training calendar schedule of all classes and open lab dates available through August.
After the July go-live, additional online resources will be posted and communicated. These publications will also be announced in Matters as they occur. Trainings will again be offered in August, during Convocation and term prep week as scheduled on the training calendar.
Student self-service resources are also in development. Watch Matters and the STEPS web pages for future updates.
