STEPS Program Update

    STEPS ProgramMore than 50 college and CedarCrestone partner team members attended the STEPS Phase III Kick-Off meeting on Monday, August 30. The jam-packed agenda included an inspiring welcome, introductions, an overview of the Campus Solutions 9.0 upgrade timeline and team effectiveness training.

    STEPS Executive Director Diane Walleser welcomed team members and encouraged them to wholeheartedly embrace the vision of the STEPS Program to dramatically enhance the student experience by transforming our practices and systems. Diane also provided an overview of the accomplishments of the STEPS Program.

    Introductions included:
    STEPS Program Team Members - Jennifer Hoege, Marty Crabbs, Lori Sebranek, Ali Zarrinnam, Reggie Mosher, Kelly Schulte, Igor Steinberg, Sharon Kelley and Paul Martin, CedarCrestone Project Manager.

    Madison College Team Leads: Annie Neuberger, Lori McRoberts, Marcia Forbes, Stephanie Dean, Roxanne Zetzman.

    CedarCrestone Team Members: Beverly Hopkins, Bonnie Schmidt, Donita Bowers, Ellen Baeth, Jack Mahon, Mani Sisouphone, Marc Pechaitis, Michael Schulman, Tricia Campbell.

    Paul Martin, the CedarCrestone Project Manager, presented the Campus Solutions 9.0 upgrade timeline to the group. And, Jackye Thomas (CETL) led Kick-Off attendees through a double-header training session to empower the teams to establish a solid footing for the important work ahead of them.

    Type and Teams: Using the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) to understand team behavior and how different styles can work to create synergy rather than conflict.
