STEPS Program: PeopleSoft Cutover Timeline and Impact to Services

    As the Student Transformation through Effective Practice and Systems (STEPS) Program moves forward, Madison College will implement an upgrade to PeopleSoft 9.0 (Student Administration System/Student Center). The current system will be taken offline and become unavailable on Wednesday, June 29 at 3 p.m. with a targeted return to services and production on Thursday, July 7.

    The following lists the major system access, services and processes affected and unavailable during the system downtime from 3 p.m. on June 29 - July 6:

    -Student Center (all access and services)

    -Account Creation

    -Account Activation, Sign-on and Password Reset

    -Student Administration System (college-wide) – PeopleSoft, myMadisonCollege (student and staff), Faculty Center

    PeopleSoft logo-Time Entry, Approval and View Pay Advice

    -COMPASS Test Score Load

    -Official Madison College Transcript Orders through Credentials

    -File and data download and entry, including the following:
        Program application/processes
        Financial Aid application/processes
        Student Account Payments

    Any student service requests received during the time the system is down will be recorded for completion/processing when the system is available.
