STEPS Program: PeopleSoft 9.0 Upgrade Scheduled for Go-Live!

    The Student Transformation through Effective Practice and Systems (STEPS) Program upgrade to PeopleSoft 9.0 (Student Administration System/Student Center) is complete. The upgrade system will be available on Thursday, July 7 with the portal (myMadisonCollege) open for student and faculty login at 8 a.m.

    This go-live returns all major system access, services and processes including:
    -Student Center (access and services)
    -Account Creation
    Student Transformation Effective Practices and Systems logo-Account Activation/Sign-on/Password Reset
    -Faculty Center access
    -Student Administration System (college-wide)
    -Time Entry/Approval/View Pay Advice
    -COMPASS Test Score Load
    -Official Madison College Transcript Orders through Credentials
    -File and data download and entry, including the following:
        Program application/processes
        Financial Aid application/processes
        Student Account Payments

    All student service requests received during the time the system was down (from June 29 at 3 p.m to July 7 at
    8 a.m.) will be completed by the go-live time and students should monitor and view their Student Center for confirmation.

    All students, faculty and staff should clear their browser cache prior to logging into the new database. Please follow the instructions on how to clear the browser cache.

    Thank you to everyone for their hard work both on and in support of the upgrade program over the last year and of the ancillary and continuing projects going forward. It was a tremendous effort and everyone’s contribution was critical to our shared success.
