Tue, 10/12/2010 - 11:51 — kfoster3
The Student Transformation through Effective Practice and Systems (STEPS) Program is working to transform the student experience and supporting processes in a variety of ways.
The STEPS team is delivering change in phases:
Phase I - Discovery and planning.
Phase II - Multiple “Quick Win” projects to improve processes and prepare the College for further transformation.
Phase III (Current Phase) - Focused on improving processes, Phase III includes a PeopleSoft Campus Solutions V9.0 upgrade project scheduled to be completed early July, 2011.
The STEPS Program’s initiatives are supported by the efforts of many participants across the college, and we will be introducing those actively involved and their unique roles in making transformation happen.
Focus on Technology Services
Technology Services directly supports the STEPS Program by providing the technology essential for transformed processes. Technology Services collectively brings over 90 years of technical savvy to the project team, including extensive PeopleSoft implementation, development and upgrade experience.
Technology Services Team members working directly on STEPS cross-functional teams include Peri Mills and Jayme Kerr. They are supported by a strong applications development team that includes Kathleen Allen, Mary Erbs, Sue Kronberger, Rona McNeil, Arden Rice, Patrick Roe and Ali Simyab. Frank Ianne and Ken LeClaire will be heavily involved in the technical aspects of the Campus Solutions upgrade. Reggie Mosher serves on the STEPS Program Team.
The expertise of the Technology Services team and their dedication to the STEPS Program is evidenced by their contributions to the Phase I discovery and planning, Phase II Quick Wins projects and in the work being done now to achieve a successful Campus Solutions V9.0 upgrade.
