STEPS PeopleSoft 9.0 Upgrade – Additional Training Sessions for Faculty

The STEPS Upgrade was successfully implemented in July and the first round of training sessions was completed during the month of June. Additional training sessions have been scheduled for Full-Time Faculty and Program Directors who are also assigned to advise students. Full-time Faculty in this role are strongly encouraged to take this opportunity to learn about the new functionality delivered in the upgrade.

The Faculty Center is the primary tool for faculty interaction with the PeopleSoft 9.0 Campus Solutions system for curriculum and student data. The Faculty Center provides access to teaching and class schedules, class rosters and grade rosters. Version 9.0 includes a new Advisor Center, complete with an interactive advising report replacing the degree audit. A brief overview of the student self-service enhancements in the Student Center will also be provided during the sessions.

Online CETL Registration is now available for sessions on August 22 and 25, in addition to breakout sessions offered during Convocation on August 24.  Full-Time Faculty uncertain which session to attend should contact their immediate supervisor for more instruction. Registration is required and class completion will be recorded on employee transcripts.
