These changes represent a calculated plan to offer Madison College students more access to and control of their academic information.

The Advising and Academics Team is committed to bridging the gap between student and advisor by:
-Reconfiguring the degree audit process to become the new advising report

-Allowing for different methods of batch processing

-Enhancing the advising report to for easier accessibility

-Expanding the Academic Advising module to allow advisors to better service students

STEPS team membersThese changes will allow advisors to share information with students in a new way that will open lines of communication not before reached. Students will be more independent than before, because of the advisors detailed work on reports and reviews. It will allow advisors to help students beyond walk-in and phone services. For students, it will be like have an advisor available 24/7 via their Student Center to help them with their academic planning questions and concerns.
