Special Message: Student Walkout

As many of you likely noticed, posters were placed throughout the Truax campus overnight and this morning encouraging a student walkout today from noon until 3 p.m. as part of “The National Day of Action for Public Education.”

This effort is not a college-sponsored event, though it is a student group initiative.

While we appreciate our students’ enthusiastic support for our staff, faculty and college, we want to remind students that attendance is the responsibility of the individual student. In cases of absence, work must be made up by arrangement with the instructor.
