LSQIP Thank You

Colleagues,
As you may know, Madison College’s Learning Systems Quality Improvement Process (LSQIP) has been discontinued as of the 2010-11 spring semester. Going forward, this unit self-assessment process will become a part of the new unit planning process. All past LSQIP portfolios, including a database of Best Practices, identified both by the unit in the writing of their LSQIP portfolio and by the LSQIP Review Team during their consensus meeting will continue to be available on Madison College’s LSQIP Blackboard site.
Over the last 8 years, LSQIP has provided the basis for our organizational self-assessment and was designed to help improve performance, manage results and share best practices. Many of our colleagues contributed to the design, implementation and support of this process. A working team composed of faculty, staff and administrators at the college, contributed their time to review between 20-30 portfolios each year, reviewed annual market and trend data and provided constructive feedback on each portfolio. The LSQIP Review Team met each month with unit representatives to reach consensus on strengths and opportunities for improvement for each unit being reviewed.
I want to take this time to sincerely thank every member of the LSQIP Review Team that made this process successful, specifically the person that “held it all together,” Jeanne Rathgeber. Jeanne will retire this summer. Her dedication from concept to completion is one of the reasons this has been a successful process. Thank you, Jeanne, and best wishes to you in your retirement!
Below is a list of all individuals that contributed to the LSQIP process over the years. To all of you: Thank You!!!
