Let's Get Going on "Get Five"

Ellen Foley PhotoWe have so much going on at the College that I can’t sleep. I am writing this in the middle of the night knowing that I have to get up at 6 a.m. for a 7 a.m. meeting. Just about everyone I am working closely with is surviving on just a few hours sleep.

With 25 days and counting to referendum day, I’m realizing now that it will come down to my colleagues at the College getting the five people they love to the polls and to get our students to find time in their busy lives to go out and vote. Any ideas on how to encourage these two groups would be most helpful in the comments section below.

Can we get all our College friends and associates to “Get Five” of the people who love them and the college to go vote Nov. 2? I’m starting to dream about this. Maybe I am dreaming now.

We are being kept awake by the strong coffee from the Ancora shop on campus and the energy in the air. Faculty, staff and administrators have attended or led more that 60 meetings since Sept. 9. And this is in addition of their usual work. This is outstanding!
