Latest Convocation Schedule

The theme, "Taking Risks to Foster Student Success" will highlight our March 26th Convocation.

College facilities are closed for services on that day so all staff may participate in Convocation activities at the Truax campus. All employees are encouraged to attend the opening session in the Mitby Theatre at 8:30 a.m.

Here's the Convocation schedule:

• 7:30 to 8:20 a.m/Continental Breakfast
• 8:30 to 9:30 a.m./Opening Session
• 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m./Breakout Session 1
• 11 a.m. to noon/Breakout Session 2
• 1 p.m. to 2:15 p.m./Breakout Session 3
• 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m./Breakout Session 4

Following the opening session we will be offering a great mix of breakout sessions that will appeal to all PSRP employees, as well as administrators and managers. 

Full-time faculty are expected to join their colleagues at Truax to engage in curriculum work. Many learning units have plans for meetings, training sessions, and specific curriculum projects in place. 

Part-time faculty should check with their Deans, Associate Deans, Department Chairs, and Program Directors to determine their participation. Learning Centers are responsible for Part-Time Faculty convocation compensation.

WACTE will offer a picnic lunch fundraiser for $5 on Convocation.
