Important Time Entry and Combo Code System Update

    A scheduled system update has been performed.

    If you use Internet Explorer, please perform the following on your computer:

    1. Make sure you have all Internet Sessions closed.
    2. Open Internet Explorer.
    3. Click Tools, as shown above.
    4. Click on 'Delete Browsing History'.
    5. Click: Delete All...
    6. Click: Yes
    7. A pop-up will appear, showing the process. It will disappear when completed.
    8. Once completed, you can log into the time entry area as usual.

    You will note some enhanced features on the time entry system:

    You can navigate through the system by clicking on the menu options now located at the top of your screen. 

    After clicking on ‘Main Menu’, hovering on the following sub-menu selections will turn them yellow, and bring up each subsequent menu, as shown above.

    Upon selecting your menu item (Timesheet in this example), you will see ‘breadcrumbs’ which is a trail of your menu selections. Click on any top menu option to navigate elsewhere.

     

    Combo Code Update:
    The Combo Code determines where your time is charged. Some employees currently select a Combo Code when entering time. The notice below pertains to those employees.

    A scheduled system update will take place from 4pm on Friday, November 12 through Saturday, November 13, making the time entry system inaccessible for entering, approving, or reviewing data during that time. 

    Following the update you will note some changes:
    The order of the combo code number is switched so that it now aligns with our other financial systems. In the example below ‘98200’ (program code) and ‘751’ (department) are flipped. Your most recent history of reported time has been updated with the new view as well.
