Important Note About Student Credit Card Payments

After Friday, May 14, Madison College Financial Resources will no longer accept student credit card payments over the phone to secure our students financial information and to implement FTC’s Red Flag Rules, which intend to prevent and mitigate identity theft.

Students who call the Financial Resources Student Payment line to make a payment by phone will be directed to make a payment via the web through Touchnet, our third party online payment processor. Touchnet is available from the student’s Inside MATC account. Students may give access to other people (parents) to make payments on his or her account in Touchnet. 

Students without internet access can make a credit card payment in person at any campus location, with the exception of the Madison West campus, or through the mail with an invoice.

After May 14, please do not direct students to call the Financial Resources Student Payment line to make a payment by credit card.  Direct them to either make a payment in person, online, or through the mail.
