Igor Steinberg Promotion

Effective September 15, Igor Steinberg is being promoted to Chief Information Officer. He will report to me in my role as Vice President of Infrastructure Services Igor has demonstrated a deep level of knowledge, a commitment to best and evolving practices, and a true dedication to the College. Igor will continue to work with the talented and dedicated administrators in the Technology Services department to achieve its goals and meet the needs of the College. 

Terrie Thorstad will report to Igor in his new role. I want to thank Terrie for her leadership, support, and contributions during the past 20 months as the Associate CIO-Academic Applications and Support. We value Terrie’s commitment and dedication as demonstrated in her 13 years of service to the college. We know that Terrie will continue to set the standard for exemplary customer service.

In addition, Bruce Coulter, Chief Information Security Officer, will report to Igor. Bruce will maintain a “dotted-line” relationship to my office. The reporting relationships for the remaining members of the Technology Services management team are not changed at this time.
