H1N1 Update
Mon, 11/23/2009 - 09:57 — wbessette
During the week of November 15-21, Madison College had one new H1N1 case (confirmed), and no new cases of flu like symptoms (unconfirmed). This brings Madison College's total H1N1 flu cases to 110 (38 confirmed and 72 unconfirmed).
The H1N1 vaccine supply is beginning to catch up with demand in Jefferson, Columbia, Dodge, and Sauk counties. Dane county's vaccine supply remains limited, however, the mass clinics at the Alliant Energy Center last week did not exhaust the vaccine on hand. This is an encouraging sign that the H1N1 vaccine could be available within the next 4-5 weeks.
