Fall Convocation Coming Up Fast!

    As we move deeper into July, it's time to kick planning for the fall Convocation into high gear!

    ConvocationConvocation is scheduled for August 17-18 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Our theme will be: "Constructing New Opportunities for Learning". If you want to offer a breakout session or get your unit/department/center meetings on the schedule, please complete the breakout session form and send it to rlcraig[at] matcmadison [dot] edu (Robin Craig) at CETL no later than July 27. 

    Here's the tentative schedule:
    Tuesday, August 17 
    8:30 to 10 a.m., Opening Session: President Barhorst, Announcements
    10:15 a.m., Large Group Breakout Session #1
    11:30 a.m., Large Group Breakout Session #1
    12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Lunch
    1:30 p.m., Center and Department/Program Meetings

    Wednesday, August 18
    Learner Success Assembly, followed by various breakout sessions primarily dedicated to enhancing the quality of instruction, from supporting technologies to best practices in the classroom.
    8:30 to 9:45 a.m., Learner Success Assembly
    10 a.m., Breakout Session #1
    11:15 a.m., Breakout Session #2
    12:15 to 1 p.m., Lunch
    1 p.m., Breakout Session #3
    2:15 p.m., Breakout Session #4
