Faculty Travel Opportunity to Turkey

    The Niagara Foundation in Chicago is offering sponsored nine-day travel tours to Turkey in June for faculty who agree to develop a course about this area of the world. Participants pay a $250 fee and are responsible for their own airfare to Turkey – all other costs of lodging, in-country travel, and most meals, are sponsored by the Niagara Foundation.

    Study in TurkeyTo be considered, faculty must first participate in a face-to-face workshop in Chicago on Friday, February 24. Applications for the June program will only be distributed at the February 24 workshop. There is a $40 fee for workshop registration that includes a full Turkish meal.

    Several Wisconsin and Illinois community college faculty participated in the 2011 Study Türkiye program with the Niagara Foundation and reported rave reviews of this opportunity.
