Expanded Health Center Services

    Have a student who's feeling ill and you're not sure what to do?

    In our continued effort to provide students with health promotion education and activities, Madison College's Health Education Center has expanded its services.

    The Health Center (Room 133-Student Life/Truax campus) will now be open from 9 a.m.
    to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Appointments for students who need alternative times and/or locations can be made by contacting the center directly.

    AspirinThe Health Center will be staffed by a registered nurse who works collaboratively with an advising physician. Services that will be offered include:
    • Health Information, guidance, and referrals
    • Basic comfort cares such as over-the-counter medications
    • First aid for minor injuries
    • Immunizations/TB skin testing (by pre-arranged appointment)
    • “Ask A Nurse” option via email, instant chat, telephone, or in person
