Email Phishing Alert

We're once again receiving bogus emails.
The latest asked some District email users for their name, password and date of birth. This email is attempting to capture personal information that can then be used to gain access to your identity.
Here's an example of the bogus email:
Dear Webmail Users,
This message is our Webmail Messaging Help Center to all our email users (Student and Staff). We are currently upgrading our data base and e-mail center as well deleting all unused Webmail account to create more space for new accounts. In order to not be suspended or deleted, you will have to update your account by providing the information listed below:
CONFIRM YOUR WEBMAIL IDENTITY BELOW.
Email ID:
Password:
Date of Birth:
You will be sent a new confirmation alphanumerical password that will be valid only during this period and must be changed after the process. We are very sorry for the inconvenience this may have cost you.

DO NOT respond to this email or any similar email. You SHOULD NOT respond to any unsolicited emails that you were not expecting. These types of phishing emails will continue to be received, although text will most likely vary. Legitimate organizations and companies NEVER request account and password information.
