Call for AQIP Team Members

Do you have a passion for quality and believe in continuous improvement? Are you interested in helping the College analyze, understand and explore opportunities to improve our processes and services?

If so, we are looking for team members to help review our Academic Quality Improvement Portfolio (AQIP). This portfolio review is part of our accreditation process with the Higher Learning Commission. As part of our process we will be forming nine teams to review how we are doing in the following AQIP categories:

    -Helping Students Learn
    -Accomplishing Other Distinctive Objectives
(Address key processes and how they support our mission and goals)
Academic Quality Improvement Program logo-Understanding Student and Other Stakeholder Needs
    -Valuing People
    -Leading and Communicating
    -Supporting Organizational Operations
    -Measuring Effectiveness
    -Planning and Continuous Improvement
    -Building Collaborative Relationships

Teams will review improvement areas from the last portfolio plus update the portfolio with new information. This process will happen over the next 18 months with the College portfolio scheduled for submission in spring of 2013. Team members could expect to spend 4–6 hours per month on the project. Your involvement would require working knowledge of the portfolio area and the support of your supervisor.
