Business Technology faculty members June Sarbacker and Diane Kosharek were recently presenters at the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) education forum and annual meeting in Minneapolis.
With more than 40,000 members and affiliates worldwide, IAAP is the largest not-for-profit member organization for those working in the administrative professional career field. MATC is a long-time partner with IAAP, offering the nation’s first online Administrative Assistant (AA) Associate in Science Degree program.
In addition to presenting two educational workshops—one titled “The Value Of A College Degree Through Virtual Learning—Is Now Your Time?” and the other focusing on MATC’s online AA program—June and Diane were joined by Business Technology faculty members Beverly Klein and Chris Yero in staffing a two-day exposition hall booth.
Face-to-face contact was made with many current and prospective online students from throughout the United States and beyond. Current MATC online AA program students and graduates in attendance also gathered at a luncheon to network with their fellow “real world smart” online classmates, alumni and faculty.
Information on MATC’s online AA program and the IAAP/MATC partnership can be found on the Business Technology Department webpage.
