Here's an update on the College's Smart Future building plan.
The Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) has approved the College's plan to construct a $39,500,000 Health Science Center, which will be located at the northwest corner of Anderson and Wright Streets on the Truax campus. The building will include both a dental and health clinic.
The WTCS also approved the conceptual phase of the College's proposed Protective Services Center, as well as construction of a Gateway entrance and Student Achievement Center. The project could receive final approval by this May.
Meanwhile, the WTCS Board approved a 5.5 percent tuition increase for the 2011-12 school year.
