Blackboard Student Course Availability

    Summer 2010 and all previous term courses are being made unavailable to students on August 30th as outlined in the Blackboard Course Availability Procedure.

    Blackboard Course Availability ProcedureIMPORTANT:
    Older term courses being re-used are impacted and will be made unavailable by this process. To avoid this, faculty should create a new course each term. CETL can assist faculty with structuring term courses in the desired format. Please contact CETL at (608) 246-6646 for assistance.

    Faculty can track unavailable courses in the course listing and continue to have the ability to re-activate courses at their discretion by following these instructions:

    Instructions to Change Course Availability
    • Go to the Control Panel of your course
    • Click on Settings - In the Course Options area 
    • In Settings, Select Course Availability 
    • Choose "Yes" to make the class available
    • Submit
