Adult Learning Inventory Survey
Mon, 11/08/2010 - 13:54 — wbessette
Please encourage your degree credit students, age 25 and older, to complete the Noel-Levitz Adult Learning Inventory (ALI) survey. In appreciation of their participation in the survey, students will have a chance to win one of two $500 scholarships or one of two $50 gift certificates to the Madison College bookstore. The drawing will be held on Monday, November 29. Please remind your students we want to hear their voices!
The ALI is a voluntary survey completed online. It asks students to rate their satisfaction and level of importance on a wide variety of programs, services and other student-related issues. The survey is available to students through Friday, November 19. Links to the survey will also be available on myMadisonCollege, Blackboard and the Library webpage. Everyone’s assistance is needed to encourage students to participate in this survey.
This first survey will establish a baseline for the group, assessing their satisfaction and areas to focus on for improvements. In the Fall of 2012, we will again administer the survey to assess if satisfaction levels have improved. As part of Madison College’s efforts to be identified as an “Adult Learning Focused Institution,” the ALI will help us identify our teaching and learning processes, explore barriers in time, place and tradition and continue career pathway work for our returning adult students.
