About the MATC Web Site

The MATC Website at http://matcmadison.edu is an electronic publication of the college. The MATC Website provides information to students, employees, and the general public about college programs, services, and news. The college strives to ensure that the site provides accurate and consistent information related to college business that supports MATC's mission and purpose.

Each year, site statistics will be evaluated to determine whether to update the design based on current browser usage. The site's current text-based navigation is fast loading and designed for compatibility with devices designed to assist disabled users in accessing the Web. We plan for future design updates to further improve site access for the disabled and to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and W3C guidelines.

Many pages of the MATC Website are intended and designed for the public. However, to offer convenient access for MATC students and employees, the current MATC site provides links to information designed to support student/teacher course and classroom communication and interaction, as well as to provide information and resources to employees.

Most pages of these sections of the site, Faculty Web Sites and Employee Resources, are accessible to the public. However, some pages may require password entry for access to information or services not available or useful to public audiences. Different publishing criteria apply more to the Class Resources and Employee Resources sections of the site than to the public information pages of the site.

The MATC Website provides information about the services of the college and supports MATC's vision, mission and values. The core information of the site is updated annually with revised college catalog information posted on corresponding entry pages. Supporting information submitted by programs or departments is incorporated into the design of the site with links leading to the information.
