Submit to Voices

January 16-March 14: Yahara Journal Spring Writing Contest and Art Show submissions accepted. E-mail entries to yaharajournal@matcmadison.edu or drop them off at the Student Life Office, Truax Room 140 and DTEC Room D237. For submission guidelines, see the home page of the Yahara Journal at http://matcmadison.edu/studentlife/yaharajournal. The contest runs through March 14. Winners will be announced April 6. The Art Show begins April 1 in the Truax Library.

Voices is published twice a year (once per semester). Submissions to Voices will also be considered for publication in the Yahara Journal, which is published once a year.

About the Yahara Journal
The Yahara Journal is a fine arts publication that showcases the literary and artistic works of the students of Madison Area Technical College. Compiled and edited by a student staff, the Yahara Journal is produced in the spring semester. The publication is funded by the Student Activities Board, which allocates money received from student activities fees. The opinions expressed in this publication do not necessarily represent those of the MATC administration, faculty, staff or student body. Voices is a e-zine published once per semester; all submissions to Voices are also considered for publication in the Yahara Journal.

The Yahara Journal will support learning and creativity at MATC through the publication of a print journal and the sponsorship of events and activities that facilitate growth in writing and visual arts.
