About the Yahara Journal
The Yahara Journal is a fine arts publication that showcases the literary and artistic works of the students of Madison Area Technical College. Compiled and edited by a student staff, the Yahara Journal is produced in the spring semester. The publication is funded by the Student Activities Board, which allocates money received from student activities fees. The opinions expressed in this publication do not necessarily represent those of the MATC administration, faculty, staff or student body. Voices is a e-zine published once per semester; all submissions to Voices are also considered for publication in the Yahara Journal.

Our Mission

The Yahara Journal will support learning and creativity at MATC through the publication of a print journal and the sponsorship of events and activities that facilitate growth in writing and visual arts.
