OneCard Meal Plan and Flex Spending
OneCard turns your MATC photo ID into a debit card that can be used to purchase food and beverages, services at the fitness centers and as a city bus pass. Simply make a deposit into the account(s) of your choice, and you're set to go!

- All you ever need to carry is your OneCard
Two Account Choices
Meal Plan Account - If you eat on campus, the Meal Plan Account will save time and money:
- Receive 5% discount on food and beverage purchases. Students receive an additional 5.5% tax savings.
- Accepted at Howling Wolf Cafeteria, Snack Bar and Wolf Pack Den at Truax and Carroll Street Cafeteria at Downtown Education Center (DTEC).
- A minimum deposit of $20 is required. Additional deposits are accepted in any amount.
- Open or add money to a Meal Plan Account at the OneCard Office or at any of the Truax or Downtown food outlets.
Flex Account* - If you are looking for maximum versatility, the Flex Account is the answer:
- A minimum deposit of $10 is all it takes to get started.
- Pay for fitness center services as well as meals and snacks
- Accepted at multiple locations: Howling Wolf Cafeteria, Snack Bar and Wolf Pack Den at Truax and Carroll Street Cafeteria at DTEC as well as the MATC Fitness Center.
*Meal Plan discount and tax savings not applicable on the Flex Account
Signing Up
Meal Plan Accounts may be opened or added to at these locations:
- Truax OneCard office, room 117
- Cashiers at the Carroll Street Cafeteria, Downtown Education Center (cash deposits only)
- Any Truax food service cashier during non-peak business periods (cash deposits only).
Flex Accounts may be opened or added to at most locations that accept your OneCard for payment.
Additional Information
- Check or credit card deposits to an account are only accepted at the OneCard office.
- Meal Plan Accounts are non-transferable.
- Any unused monies remaining in a Student Meal Plan Account are non-refundable.
- Your OneCard must be presented at the time of purchase and is the only means of accessing your account.
- If your OneCard is lost or stolen, report it immediately to the OneCard office in room 117 at the Truax campus or by calling 608-243-4843. You are liable for any loss incurred prior to proper notification.
