Advocate – Educate – Celebrate

Our goals in Student Life are simple. We serve as advocates for all MATC students, helping ensure that their interests are represented and their rights are protected. We help guide students' educational growth, providing them with opportunities to apply what they've learned in the classroom or challenging them to explore new possibilities. We also celebrate the accomplishments of our students, taking special time to recognize and reward them for their hard work.

Several programs, activities and services are offered through Student Life They include:

To join a student organization or club

To join a student organization or club, complete a Student Organization Application (a downloadable PDF) and take it to the Student Life Office. If you have questions, you can e-mail studentlife@matcmadison.edu or call us at (608) 246-6224. You can also visit our offices located in Room 140 at the Truax campus and Room D237 at the Downtown campus. Open hours at Truax are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays. Open hours at Downtown are 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and by apppointment on Fridays. Summer and holiday hours vary.

As mentors, advisors, and educators, through our programs and services we promote total student development, build inclusive learning communities, and prepare students for their academic pursuits as well as successful work and global citizenship.
