    MATC Campus Security Services provides multiple services to the MATC campus community for increased protection while on campus as well as many community relation programs in accordance with the Community-Oriented Policing philosophy.     Security Escort Program

    Upon request, a uniformed MATC Campus Security officer can escort you to your car or classroom on campus. Off-campus escorts can be requested but will only be granted based on the descretion of the officer. Escorts can be requested by calling the MATC Campus Security Services EMERGENCY number at (608) 243-4357. Please call approximately 5-10 minutes ahead of the requested escort time and give the location you would like to be met as well as your final destination.

    Temporary Parking

    MATC Campus Security Services is responsible for issuing and documenting all temporary parking on campus. Temporary parking will be issued for all visitors, vendors and people needing a parking permit for a temporary-use vehicle.

    WolfPack Alerts

    WolfPack Alerts enable students and staff to receive information by text or e-mail in the event of a weather emergency or potentially threatening campus incident. Sign up for WolfPack Alerts.

    Lock Cutting

    MATC Campus Security officers are able to cut locks on lockers because of misplaced keys or locker combinations. Be prepared to identify all objects contained within the locker for postive identification before release of items.

    Vehicle Unlocks

    Lock your keys in your car? Upon request, MATC Campus Security is able to open your vehicle by use of specialty tools to retrieve your keys. Be prepared to show proper ownership of the vehicle by providing registration and/or insurance information. This can also be done via parking stickers affixed to the vehicle.

    Vehicle Jump-Starts

    In the event of a vehicle breakdown due to a drained battery, MATC Campus Security is able to provide a battery jump pack to get you going on your way.

    Public Education

    During large events, such as New Student Daze, stop by and visit the MATC Campus Security booth. MATC Campus Security officers will provide you with safety tips, helpful hints and any other information you would like to know about the department, parking or MATC.
