School of Arts and Sciences
The School of Arts and Sciences (formerly the Center for Arts & Sciences) provides opportunities in the areas of arts, engineering and science through Transfer U. Students can start their education at Madison College to earn an associate’s degree and transfer to a four-year college or university to pursue a bachelor’s degree. When compared directly with nine other Madison area colleges, full-time Liberal Arts Transfer program students save an average of nearly $11,000 a year in tuition and fees.
By completing an associate’s degree program at Madison College, students will usually satisfy the first two years of general education requirements for four-year colleges and universities. Students who have a four-year institution in mind should verify the transferability of Madison College courses to that school.
Students can also earn a certificate in Ethnic Studies or Journalism.
