The
primary purpose of the Institutional Research Committee
[IRC] is to improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness
of institutional research (including inputs, processes,
products and outcomes) in order to enhance data-driven
decision-making within and among WTCS colleges.
IRC is
a sub-committee of the Wisconsin Technical College Administrators'
Association. IRC was formerly known as Research, Planning
& Development Administrators [RPD], our members typically
serve one or more of the following functions within their
respective colleges:
- Institutional
Research
- Institutional
Planning
- Program Evaluation
- Program Development
(including Needs Assessments)
- Resource Development
- Assessment
(of various types)
- State Reporting
- State-Mandated
Survey of Graduates & Employers
- Institutional Accreditation (AQIP
or PEAQ)
