WolfPack Forensics Shines at State Meet

The Madison College Speech Team attended the WCFA State Meet at Ripon College last weekend. The team took fifth place at the TEAM SWEEPS during the meet. Students entered seven events.

Students representing Madison College included: Bo Collins, Nick Camp, Lisa Patterson, Patrick Stallsmith and Spencer White

Bo and Nick took sixth place overall in the DUO category with a cutting from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Spencer took fifth place overall with a Dramatic Interpretation from The Elephant Man. Lisa (POI) and Patrick (poetry) were each ranked third in a preliminary round, proving they have the potential to "break."

Assistant Coach Jessie Clements and prospective coach David Olson accompanied the team and Patti Huber also served as judge.

The 2011 State Meet will be held at UW-Eau Claire. Madison College will be providing the impromptu topics for State next year.
