African Celebration Week at Madison College!

    African Celebration Week!The African Student Association (ASA) Club invites you to its annual African Celebration Week Event!

    The event runs from April 26-30 at the Truax campus. There are a number of fun activities to enjoy.   

    African Dance Troupe and Fashion Show
    -Monday, April 26, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., room 142C
    -Milwaukee's "Jam Ka Jam" African Traditional Dancers
    -ASA Student Dancers
    -African Fashion Show

    Four African Guest Speakers
    -Tuesday, April 27, 1-3 p.m., room 306
    -Friendly and highly interactive panel with a question and answer forum focusing on Africa
    -Come with questions on Africa or just to enjoy the talk

    African Open Market Bonanza
    -Wednesday, April 28, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Gourmet Dining Room Hallway
    -African vendors will showcase and sell their wares  

    African Celebration Poster Day
    -Thursday, April 29, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Truax Campus Bulletin Boards
    -Enjoy flyers featuring Africa, her people, cultures and resources

    ASA Second Annual Potluck 
    -Friday, April 30, 12:30 - 2:30 p.m., room 142AB
    -Culinary from nations including: Ghana, Guinea, Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt, and many more
    -Come enjoy the food, music, dance and the people
