Madison College Survey Gets Kudos in Channel 3 Editorial

Engaging Staff and Faculty is Smart Move

We've made no secret of the fact that we're fans of Madison College and we have great interest in their master planning process that has gone on since 2005. We consider the College an invaluable partner in the long term economic and creative growth of this region. But we acknowledge that expansion and a possible referendum require public understanding and buy in.

And there's no better place to start than with Madison College faculty and staff. So we are pleased to see President Bettsey Barhorst has developed an online survey to seek input on project phasing and the potential impact of a referendum from the people closest to the project itself. Barhorst can then use the information to make her recommendation to the College Board. It's smart thinking and we encourage the faculty and staff to weigh in.
