    Competency-based Curriculum and Program Outcomes

All programs at MATC are required to establish and maintain advisory committees made up of employers who employ positions such as those being trained in the program curriculum. These advisory groups meet on an annual basis to establish and maintain the competency list that encompasses the role and responsibility of a first-time supervisor, whether they be in a manufacturing, service, profit or non-profit industry.

SupervisorCompetency-Based Courses are based on the development of competencies that outline the role and responsibilities of a first-line supervisor including, but not limited to, the functions of planning, organizing, staffing, directing and assessing employee performance.
