This certificate is intended for professionals in marketing, Web design and development, graphic design, journalism, visual communications/media design, customer service, and others who want to implement social media more effectively.
There are no prerequisite courses for this certificate. Students are required to have basic computer skills.
Students need to complete the curriculum requirements - three (3) required courses and one (1) elective course.
Admissions
Certificate Eligibility
Students complete the online application and register for individual courses during the open registration period each semester. It is the student's responsibility to request the certificate by calling (608) 246-6003 once all required classes have been completed and grades have been received. A grade of C or better is required in each course to award the certificate. No more than 50% of the certificate credits may be through advanced standing.
Financial Aid Eligibility
Certificates are not eligible for financial aid.
