Yahara Journal Book Release Celebration

Don't miss the Yahara Journal Book Release Celebration on Friday, April 27, at 2:30 p.m. in the Truax Student Lounge.

Pick up a free copy of this year's Yahara Journal, enjoy readings by some of the authors featured in the Journal and view a video display of the artwork published. Refreshments will be provided

The event is free and open to the public.

The Yahara Journal is Madison College's student-produced fine arts and literary journal. It consists entirely of work from Madison College students.

Events from 2011-12

January 17 to January 30 - Art Show submission deadline.

All submissions for the second semester Art Show are due Jan. 28. Art will be displayed during the month of February. For information on how to submit, click here.

February 1 to February 28 - Art Show in the Truax Library

Art submitted during first semester through the month of January will be displayed in the Truax Library. For information on how to submit, click here.

March 23 - Spring semester Writing Contest Deadline

All submissions for the spring semester Writing Contest are due March 23. For information on how to submit, click here. Students can submit up to five items by completing our online submission form or brining them to the Student Life Office, Truax Room 140 and Downtown Room D237.
