Turville Bay is recruiting for a full-time MRI Technologist to join our team of dedicated professionals.
Our MRI Technologists operate state-of-the-art imaging equipment to obtain important cross-section images of various parts of the body. The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing all tasks required to acquire high quality magnetic resonance imaging according to set protocols. This includes preparing patients, verifying screening protocols, monitoring daily patient schedules to ensure efficiency and accurately enter patient information in to computer systems. MRI Technologist also evaluates patients’ histories and symptoms for the procedure’s clinical criteria. Our technologists work as a team to provide professional and compassionate care to our patients, interacting closely with radiologists and referring physicians to achieve optimal outcomes. In addition, the MRI team plays an integral role in working with technology upgrades in our RIS / PACS system.
Position requires rotating call coverage on week-nights and week-ends.
If you have successfully completed an accredited radiology and/or medical imaging program, have a current ARRT registry, consider joining Turville Bay. Experience in 3T a plus. Applicants must possess demonstrated strong communication and human relations skills.
