Global Experience
Go Global without the cost of international travel!
Cultural and Educational Opportunity –Learn with International Students from Germany and Ireland! During the Spring 2011 Interim session, Madison College will offer a 3 credit class called “Global Studies Seminar”. The focus of this class is sustainable business practices, however, the content is very flexible and projects can be tailored to be of value to any Madison College student. The course requires participation with visiting German and Irish students in a 4 day international seminar (June 13 – 16) held at Madison College. As a part of the seminar, students will tour WI businesses that are successfully using sustainable / green business practices.
Students will also be encouraged to participate in sightseeing and entertaining our German and Irish student guests during their visit. The itinerary for sightseeing will include destinations in Minneapolis, Southern WI, and Chicago. This is a great opportunity to earn 3 credits, study with Irish and German students, and get a global perspective without the cost of international travel!
