College Transfer Art

Mission

The College Transfer- Art Department offers courses that students can transfer toward required courses in degree granting programs. Courses transfer with full credit to four-year art programs offering bachelor degrees, and to other community colleges. Students can also transfer courses into associate degree programs at Madison College, such as Graphic Design, Animation, Visual Communications, and Photography. The goal of this department is to provide a rigorous foundation in studio art courses, so students will be prepared to succeed as they transfer into degree programs that best fit their area of artistic interest. Even if students choose not to pursue a degree in art, the College Transfer-Art Department offers courses to students seeking a challenging and informative introduction to artistic exploration.

All courses transfer as equivalent foundation course credit at UW system and many other degree programs.
